How to Repair a Rubber Wristband
- 1). Clean both broken edges of the wristband with a dry cloth. Verify that all dirt, dust and debris has been removed from the two edges.
- 2). Apply a small amount of commercial grade cyanoacrylate glue to both broken edges of the wristband. Wait for 20 seconds as the glue becomes tacky.
- 3). Place the two broken edges of the wristband together and check that the edges line up. Hold the edges together for one minute.
- 4). Scrape excess glue from the surface of the wristband with a hobby knife.
- 5). Tape across the broken edges on the outside of the wristband with clear tape. Run another strip of clear tape across the broken edges on the inside of the wristband.
- 6). Leave the wristband overnight. Remove the clear tape in the morning.
