How to Make Letter Pillows
- 1). Draw the letter you would like to make on a piece a paper; use a ruler to make straight, neat lines. Draw another copy of the same letter and make it 1/2 inch bigger all the way around. Cut the letters out with scissors.
- 2). Cut 2 pieces of fabric and lay them on the work surface with the wrong side facing upward. Lay the letters in the middle of the fabric and trace them with the chalk fabric pencil.
- 3). Cut the letters with scissors slightly on the outside of the pencil line.
- 1). Place the 2 pieces of material together with the right sides facing one another; place the bigger piece on the bottom. Pin the pieces together using sewing pins.
- 2). Sew 3 sides of the pieces together with the sewing machine. Leave 3 inches on the bottom section unsewn if you are making a circular shape.
- 3). Pull the material inside out and pinch the corners out as much as possible. Stuff the pillow with filling, but leave enough space for the pillow to be sewn.
- 4). Sew the remaining section with a needle and thread. Fluff the pillow to distribute the filling evenly.
