Using an External Drive

• 1). Connect your external storage device to your laptop.
  
  
• 2). Open iTunes and click on the "Music" folder, located in the "Library" section of the sidebar.
  
  
• 3). Highlight songs and drag them to the disk icon of the external storage device, located on your Mac's desktop.
  
  
• 4). Plug the external storage device into the second Mac laptop and open the external storage device folder.
  
  
• 5). Open iTunes. Go to "iTunes" and then "Add folder to library." Navigate to the external storage device folder and select "Open" to add the files to iTunes.
  
  

Using Home Sharing

• 1). Open iTunes and click on the "Home Sharing" icon in the iTunes sidebar.
  
  
• 2). Enter your iTunes ID and password when prompted. Click "Create Home Share."
  
  
• 3). Repeat steps 1 and 2 on another Mac in the same household, using the same ID and password, to allow sharing between the two computers.
