• Old Town shopping is unique because the area has a wide variety of shopping opportunities, from boutiques to apparel and from small stores to specialty shops. Historic Sites

• Chicago is full of history, including the neighborhood of Old Town. Many of Chicago's Victorian-era style buildings are in Old Town. In fact, one of the buildings that got hit by the significant Chicago fire in October 1871 is located here. St. Michael's Church on North Cleveland Avenue suffered a severe setback when only the church walls remained standing after the fire. They rebuilt and rededicated the church in October 1873.
