    • Old Town is a neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, that is rich in history and home to many of Chicago's older, Victorian-era buildings. Old Town has a multitude of things to do, from dining to shopping to walking the streets to entertainment. Taste the neighborhood's eclectic foods, such as Asian or Mexican.     • Old Town shopping is unique because the area has a wide variety of shopping opportunities, from boutiques to apparel and from small stores to specialty shops. One such specialty shop is The Spice House, a shop that carries hand-selected and hand-prepared spices ranging from American, Cajun and barbecue to seasonings from Greece, Turkey and Thailand.

    Historic Sites

    • Chicago is full of history, including the neighborhood of Old Town. Many of Chicago's Victorian-era style buildings are in Old Town. In fact, one of the buildings that got hit by the significant Chicago fire in October 1871 is located here. St. Michael's Church on North Cleveland Avenue suffered a severe setback when only the church walls remained standing after the fire. They rebuilt and rededicated the church in October 1873.

    • If you're looking for an entertaining afternoon or evening, then Chicago's Old Town is the place to go. The neighborhood is filled with a variety of establishments.
