If you want to make sure your carpets stay clean, here is a list of things you should avoid doing.
These tips are easy to implement, and will work fast to get your carpets dirty! Let's take a look at what NOT to do.
First, be sure to leave your shoes on when entering the home.
This way all the dirt and grime you've walked on - outside, in the office, on the subway, in the yard, and so on - can easily get tracked into your home and onto your carpets.
Leaving your shoes on is probably the single most efficient way of bringing in dirt from the outside into your home.
All you to do remember to do is nothing when you get home - just walk right in and the rest takes care of itself! Now, maybe when you walked into your home with your shoes you saw there was a rug outside.
What a strange artifact - is there an expectation to actually wipe my feet on this thing? For best results, just keep moving.
There's no time to waste with rugs.
Now the third point to mention relates to having pets, especially dogs.
Definitely don't worry about wiping their dogs feet when he or she goes outside and then comes back in.
Sure, it would remove a lot of dirt and whatnot that otherwise is going to get into the carpet, but don't forget: we don't care.
We want to see the carpet get dirty! So everything above relates to getting dirt into your home and into the carpet.
Now that we've shown you how to easily accomplish that, let's take a look at how to up things up a notch by not cleaning.
The first thing to keep in mind is that it's not going to help you to vacuum regularly, say, once or twice a week.
To do so would regularly remove all the dirt and allergens in carpet - what would be the point of that? Don't forget that we have pets and children walking around on the carpet - let's not get too crazy here keeping it clean.
Finally, if you ever get something in the mail about a professional carpet cleaning service, throw it away and don't look back.
These are scams set up to perfectly clean your carpets and nearly restore them as new and fresh.
It's fast and easy to do (you can even rent the equipment yourself.
) As you can see, it makes no sense to have this done on any regularly basis, such as one time a year.
In summary, if you're trying to NOT keep your carpets clean, just let everything from the outdoors from your shoes and pets get tracked into the home.
Then, once it's in your carpets, make sure it stays there by never vacuuming and definitely never getting any sort of professional carpet cleaning done.
If you follow these tips then in no time, you too can have dirty carpet!
