How to Make a Tie Throw
- 1). Match the two pieces of fabric together with the designs facing outwards.
- 2). Trim the pieces of fabric to the same size.
- 3). Using a ruler, mark a 4-inch square on each corner of the fabric.
- 4). Cut out each corner using the scissors.
- 5). Mark the pattern for the fringe using a ruler. Measure 4-inch deep in 1-inch increments along each side of the fabric.
- 6). Cut along the marks to create fringe along each edge of the fabric.
- 7). Double knot tie each front piece of fringe to the backside piece of fringe using an overhand knot. To create a consistent look in the knots, only tie every other knot with the blanket face up. Flip the blanket over and tie the remaining knots using the same overhand double knot method.
