How to Create a Parallel Dongle to Bypass the BIOS Password
- 1). Find the pin numbers on the back of a male DB25 connector located next to each pin in small writing. Place the bare copper ends of the jumper wires in the holes of the pins at the back of the DB25 connector according to the pinout below:
Connect pin 1 to pin 5
Connect pin 5 to pin 10
Connect pin 2 to pin 11
Connect pin 3 to pin17
Connect pin 4 to pin12
Connect pin 6 to pin16
Connect pin 7 to pin13
Connect pin 8 to pin14
Connect pin 9 to pin15
Note that pin 5 will be connected to both pin 1 and pin 10. - 2). Heat up a soldering iron. Solder each wire end to the pin where it is positioned to secure the jumper wires in place. Confirm that the solder does not bridge any pins or wires.
- 3). Place a DB25 connector cover on the DB25 male connector and snap the cover in place. Secure the connector cover with the screws provided with the cover.
