How to Transfer an iTunes Song to an iPod Nano
- 1). Plug the USB cable into your iPod Nano and connect it to a USB port on your computer.
- 2). Double-click on the iTunes icon on your desktop to start iTunes, if you have a shortcut set up. If not, Windows users can click on "Start," and find iTunes listed in the "Programs" listing. Mac OS X users can click on the iTunes icon listed at the bottom of the screen on the dock bar.
- 3). Allow the iTunes software some time to sync the iTunes media library to the iPod Nano. It is designed to do this automatically when the iPod Nano is connected.

- 5). Click on "Music" below the Library on the left side of the iTunes window and select some songs to load onto the device. Drag and drop the music files to the iPod Nano in the device list to add them to the Nano. Then eject the iPod Nano from iTunes and disconnect the device.
