  Candles are an easy way to get your home smelling like fresh lemons. Lemon scented candles are popular and widely available at home and specialty retailers. You can also make your own. Simply melt down candle wax, add as much or as little lemon scent as you like and pour into a jar or mold. Add a wick and, once dry, you will have a homemade lemon candle. Candle supplies and scents can be purchased at any arts and crafts store.
  
  

Cleaning Products

  You can get your clothes to smell like lemons by adding a teaspoon of lemon juice to your detergent as you wash. Lemon-scented detergents and fabric softeners are also widely available. When cleaning, lemon is a natural way to disinfect and sanitize. Use it to clean cutting boards, counter tops and sinks. You can rub lemon directly on germ ridden areas or add equal parts lemon juice to water for an all-purpose cleaner.
  
  

Air Fresheners and Diffusers

• For a natural lemon scent through a room, add equal amounts of water and fresh lemon juice to an atomizer. Lemon air fresheners and diffusers are widely available at supermarkets and specialty stores. You can also purchase lemon scented potpourri or incense sticks. To make your own potpourri, simply dry out strips of lemon rinds and lemon verbena plants leaves.
  
  

Personal Scents

• If you want to walk around smelling as fresh as lemons, try a personal product with lemon scent. Lemon scented soaps, lotions and body washes can be purchased at online specialty stores. You can also make your own lemon sugar perfume by drying out lemon geranium leaves and combining them with a jar of sugar. After two weeks in a dry place, the sugar will take on the fresh lemon scent. Rub it on your skin or use it to exfoliate.
  
  

Plants and Flowers

  Lemon balm plants smell like cut lemons. You can grow these fresh herbs in the garden or in a windowsill herb pot. You can also use them to make lemon-hinted tea or crush up the leaves to make a fresh scented salve. Several other plants and flowers also have a strong lemon smell, including lemon geranium, lemon verbena, lemon basil and lemon grass. Many are easy to grow and can be placed inside and out.
