• Skaters are used to having their picture taken during performances, reading commentaries about the competition and having their various events documented in such ways. But most performers don't have the time to organize all the media clippings and pictures. • Many online stores offer unique gifts for figure skaters. Crystal figurines that would commemorate a certain move the skater is known for, blade covers to protect their skates between performances and jewelry in the shape of skates or skaters are just a few ideas when it comes to items available for purchase. A custom costume or practice outfit can also make a unique---and much appreciated---gift. • Since a skater's time is so precious, she might not have time to peruse the availability of event offerings during her downtime. A thoughtfully purchased set of tickets to plays, musicals or performances will allow her to have a fun experience during the competition lulls. • Skating lessons and training can be very expensive. A gift card for private or group lessons can help ease some of the burden of practice costs.
