How to Clean an iPod Wheel
- 1). Turn off your iPod and turn on the Hold button so you do not accidentally switch on the power while cleaning.
- 2). Dip a cotton swab or ball in 80 percent isopropyl alcohol, or rubbing alcohol found at any drugstore, and squeeze off any excess. You may also use a lint-free cloth.
- 3). Lightly rub the cotton swab, ball, or cloth over the Click Wheel until the dirt or fingerprints have disappeared. If this does not work, consider using a small amount of glass cleaner on a new cotton swab instead.
- 4). Dry the Click Wheel by wiping it with a dry hand towel.
