How to Create a Friendly Business Card
- 1). Open Paint, click "Image" and select "Attributes." Set the dimensions to 3.5 inches by 2 inches and click "OK." Pull down the "View" menu, click "Zoom" and select "Large Size," which increases your screen image to give you more room to design.
- 2). Choose a paint color for the text of your card from the "Color Picker" at the bottom of the screen.
- 3). Click the "Text" tool, which looks like an "A." Click inside the card space and select a font. Friendly-style font options include Bradley Hand, Comic Sans, Gigi, Elephant and Papyrus, which are all included with your computer. Select a font size, then type your name, company name, address, phone number, website and e-mail address.
- 4). Reduce the font size to a slightly smaller size, switch paint colors and add a line of text describing the type of organization you are promoting, such as "We help you move," "Fast and friendly babysitting service" or "Call us anytime."
- 5). Click the "Paintbrush" tool, select the small round brush head below it and a new, bright paint color. Draw a smiley face, animal shape, paw prints, footprints, balloons or other design on the card.
- 6). (Optional) Give your card a friendly background color such as yellow, which relates joy or turquoise, which produces a pleasurable feeling, by clicking the "Paint Bucket" tool, selecting the color from the "Color Picker" and clicking in the white space of the card, which fills with the color.
