"The US Needs to Improve Its World Image," She Said
If we listen to the academic scholars, and much of the talk coming out of the United Nations, European Union, Russia, Latin America, or Al Jazeera news station in the Middle East, you would swear that the United States is a horrible and mean-spirited country and that we need to improve our image around the world.
I believe this to be absolute nonsense, and I don't think the United States should do a darn thing to improve its image.
You see, the United States of America is the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind.
We have run away with the world's economic power with a $17.
1 trillion GDP; that is equal to the entire European Union altogether, even as they fudge their numbers.
Basically we proved that capitalism is great, it works best for human civilizations, and we have proved we have the strongest middle class averages of any nation even close to our size in the world.
Still, there are those who believe that it's more important to be liked than to be great.
Perhaps, they would like us to become un-great, so they wouldn't feel inadequate or jealous.
Forget it I say.
Nevertheless, just the other day an acquaintance of mine from Canada and let me say I use that word acquaintance very loosely, because I completely disagree with this sort of nonsense stated to me; "Most of the planet is against what leaders like the US or England does.
" First of all this is absolutely wrong, most everywhere I've been in the world, they love Americans, and they love the United States because of its freedom, liberty and democracy.
They love everything we stand for, and many people wish to move hear.
In fact, we have people from all over the world trying to migrate to the US illegally and sneak in.
I highly doubt if they thought we were such a horrible country they would be doing that.
In fact, not a lot of people are trying to sneak into Russia these days.
So I told my acquaintance; "No, wrong, you mean those on the planet who are broadcast onto their TV sets various anti-American nonsense are against what the leadership of our nation is doing.
Further, most of those against the US are so due to "State Sponsored Media Propaganda" of Anti-US condemnation and BS.
" Therefore, it is completely irrelevant what anybody else in the world thinks about the United States.
We should do what is right, what we know to be right, and we should be the best at everything we do.
We should promote capitalism, strength, and liberty.
And if other people don't like that; who cares? Please consider all this because the United States is great and those who trash it are not.
I want to live in a great country, I am a great person, and I am a proud America, and there are 100s of millions of people just like me, end the story.
