How To Choose A Horrible Halloween Costume

It's amazing how many people seem to choose horrible and inappropriate Halloween costumes.
Obviously they must enjoy it, perhaps for the challenge or shock value.
It makes sense that others may want to as well and may just not be as good at it.
Here we present some tips that will be of value if you want to pick a horrible costume, and will hopefully be equally useful if you want to avoid choosing one that is horrible.
1) Do not consider the temperature or environment where you will be wearing it.
For example, you might have chosen a skimpy Fairy outfit or perhaps a Caveman loincloth with matching wooden club that would be great for an indoor adult party but that will be horrible for an outdoor parade in New England as you'll nearly freeze to death.
You seriously might get frostbite! Also, a warm outfit that might be great for the parade might be stiflingly hot at an indoor party that is crowded.
And a bulky yet warm Godzilla costume just may make it difficult to even walk the entire parade route.
2) Do not think about eating and drinking.
Obviously many costumes are worn at parties that often contain lots of food and drink.
If you need to take off some of your costume to eat or drink, you are going to ruin the effect.
That Grinch costume may be great, but if your Grinch head is off most of the time it doesn't work as well, does it? 3) Do not consider the audience.
It doesn't matter if it's children or your potential in laws.
Be yourself and wear that skimpy party dress as part of your outfit.
And so what if you've decided to dress as Moses or perhaps one of the Three Wise Men and are going to a Church function? Do not worry about being inappropriate or offending others, just be yourself.
4) Last but not least, do not worry about going to the bathroom.
So what if you are planning on swilling a few beers responsibly in a bar? You can still wear that costume that takes ten minutes to take off before you can relieve yourself.
Just do it.
You can hold it for an evening if you have to, no big deal.
5) Dress in the most popular and trendy costume you can think of.
Characters from new hit movies and newly famous superstars come to mind.
Do not worry that there may be others dressed exactly the same at the party!
