Video: Working Out at Home Exercises

Hi, I'm Coach Mike with 1-on-1 Health fitness. Today, I will be sharing with you exercises that you can do while at home. Well, nine times out of ten when we're at home we're comfortable and we're relaxing so what I share with you today is working out when we're doing something that we all love to do, sitting down, maybe watching a movie or enjoying a TV show of your choice. So within a show there's probably about two to three breaks so two to three commercial segments. So I'm going to share with you how to maximize the amount of work out and exercises while at home enjoying your show. So if you're sitting on your couch and you have a pillow, you can place those in between your legs and apply slight pressure, to contract, you can put the hand over your head and lean to the side of your choice, anchoring your elbow for stability at the corner, with your legs, your knees and your feet, tightly together, just do a slight crunch or bringing your elbow to where your knee or foot would try and touch. Then you can rotate to the opposite side during the same commercial segment or you can do it during the same commercial segment and doing the same thing. Now notice what's happening here, my abs, obliques and love handles, the point that's hard to reach is being worked. And that there is what I like to share with people when they're at home and there are quiet moments in between TV shows, that you can work your muscles and work effectively while at home then you can enjoy your TV show.
