Tips for Cleaning Resin Furniture
- Clean the furniture with baking soda. Dip a paper towel in water, squeeze out any excess water and then sprinkle baking soda over the paper towel. Rub the paper towel over the furniture, adding more baking soda as needed. Rinse with fresh water.
- Don't use any type of abrasive cleaner on the resin furniture, such as commercial cleaning products and powdered cleansers. The roughness of the powders can actually leave behind deep scratches on the resin.
- According to Reader's Digest, use full-strength distilled white vinegar and spray on mildew areas, then wipe with fresh water. For mold problems, mix ½ c. bleach with 1 gallon of cool water, and wipe off with fresh water.
