How to Pressure Clean Pools
- 1). Empty all the water out of the pool.
- 2). Attach a garden hose to the inlet port on the power washer. Attach the power washer's hose and wand to the outlet side. If the power washer is gas-powered, ensure you have plenty of fuel before beginning.
- 3). Dress yourself in rubber boots, heavy rubber gloves and safety goggles. The safety goggles are very important because the pressure of the water can cause dirt and debris to fly up into your face, and could damage your eyes.
- 4). Start at one end of the pool and power wash a section completely. Move clockwise around the pool until you have worked your way back to where you began. Move the wand back and forth in horizontal sweeps and hold the wand two or three feet from the surface. Push the dirt and debris down the sides of the pool and across the bottom to the center of the pool.
- 5). Sweep up the pile of debris in the center of the pool with a broom and dust pan.
