How to Hook Up a SA-HT940 DVD Home Theater to a Comcast DVR & TV
- 1). Insert the red, green and blue plugs on one RGB component cable into the Video OUT jacks on the back of the SA-HT940 main unit, then connect the three plugs on the other end to a set of Video IN jacks on the back of the TV, matching the stripe on each jack to the colored plugs. This is the only connection necessary from the SA-HT940 to the TV because the SA-HT940 speakers provide audio.
- 2). Connect the second RGB component cable to the three Video OUT jacks on the Comcast DVR, then plug in the other ends into a second set of Video IN jacks on the back of the TV; for example, "Video 2."
- 3). Insert the white and red plugs on one end of the stereo cable into the Audio OUT jacks on the Comcast DVR back panel, then plug in the other ends to the Audio IN jacks that go with the Video IN jacks used in Step 2.
- 4). Plug in the power cords and turn on all three components.
- 5). Press and release the "Input" button on the TV remote control repeatedly to switch from the SA-HT940 home theater system and the Comcast DVR.
