Getting Rid of a Yeast Infection - Best Ways to Stop a Recurring Candida Infection
A candida infection is caused by a bacteria called "Candida Albicans".
As with all organisms, this bacteria prefers some conditions over others.
These conditions are:
- Hot
- Wet
- Dark
- Airless
- Containing sugar
Unfortunately, your vagina provides perfectly all those conditions to the bacteria and that's why you keep getting yeast infections.
Even if you manage to suppress an episode of Candida, they get back after some time because your vagina is a good place for them.
So, in order to get rid of recurring yeast infections permanently, you need to make some changes:
- Don't wear too tight jeans or panties: Because doing so will result in an overall hotter environment which will make the Candida Albicans bacteria's enzymes to work better, and they will multiply faster.
Plus, tight places get less air, so this meets the anaerobic requirement of the bacteria. - Avoid excessive sugar - at least for some time.
Yeast feeds on sugar, and the more sugar there is, the faster they will multiply. - Have a good hygiene but do not over wash your vaginal parts.
Washing a lot will mess with the pH values of your vagina which might be a good thing for the bacteria.
Otherwise, you should take showers once or twice each day and have good hygiene on you.
