    • 1). Connect your iPod Touch to your Mac using the device's USB connector cable and launch iTunes if the application doesn't start automatically.

    • 2). Click the iPod Touch icon displayed in the left sidebar and select the "Summary" tab.

    • 3). Hold down the "Option" key and click the "Restore" button. A navigator dialog box will appear.

    • 4). Navigate to the IPSW firmware file saved on your computer using the navigator dialog, click the file and click the "Choose" button.

    • 5). Click "OK" in the pop-up window to confirm that you want to restore your iPod Touch firmware to the previous version.
