Ingredients

- 1 15 ounce can mustard greens
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Drain mustard greens in a colander, pressing with back of spoon to remove as much moisture as possible. Set aside.Melt butter in saucepan, add flour; stir until flour is dissolved. Pour in milk. Continue to stir until smooth. Add seasonings and cook until thickened.
Fold in drained greens. Heat slowly until piping hot. Serve at once.
