  Northlake Parkway is a fairly short stretch of road on the east-northeast side of Atlanta, Georgia, crossing Interstate 285 and skirting the north side of Northlake Mall. O'Charley's Restaurant

• This modestly priced, family casual-dining restaurant is located just west of Northlake Parkway on Crescent Centre Boulevard. Part of a restaurant chain blanketing most of the eastern United States, O'Charley's offers a variety of dishes including steak, seafood, pasta, chicken, sandwiches and salads. Folks Southern Kitchen

• This Atlanta-area standby chain has one of its 16 locations just east of the parkway, on Lavista Road, offering inexpensive southern cooking. Known as having "Atlanta's Best Fried Chicken and Iced Tea," it also offers ribs, Gulf shrimp, catfish, meatloaf and other entrees, with a wide variety of freshly cooked vegetables as sides. Combo platters are also available, as well as a mix-and-match meal of all you can eat.

• Located west of Northlake Parkway on Lavista, this popular establishment is actually two restaurants in one, offering moderately priced traditional Chinese fare on one side, plus a Japanese sushi bar and hibachi grill on the other. Chinese dishes range from chow mein to Peking shrimp—or if you wish, a chef will cook Japanese chicken and shrimp at your tableside. Combination meals are available for parties up to eight people.

Bambinelli's Italian Restaurant

• Located at the northwest corner of the Northlake Mall area (and the western end of Northlake Parkway), this locally owned restaurant offers New York style pizza and a variety of traditional Italian dishes at modest to moderate prices. Dishes range from chicken picatta to sea scallops and mussels, plus the standard spaghetti and meatballs or veal parmigiana. Lunch and dinner menus are available.
