How to Paint Interior Arches
- 1). Spread a tarp beneath the archway to catch any paint drips or spatters.
- 2). Open a can of paint with the screwdriver and stir it. Pour the the paint into a paint tray until it covers the bottom of the tray.
- 3). Place a paint roller or a narrow brush in the paint. Wipe the paint off the side of the tray or on the moguls on the paint tray designed to catch excess paint from applicators. The roller brush should be covered in a light coat of paint but not drip. Achieve this by gently dipping the roller brush in the paint and rolling it over the moguls several times.
- 4). Start painting the bottom of the archway before painting the rest of the wall attached to it so you can smooth out any lines or drips using a roller brush on the wall.
- 5). Swipe the brushes on the archway using an up and down motion and following the curve of the arch until you completely cover the entire arch. Apply paint with a roller in a similar fashion.
