Paw Print Poster Ideas
- Different animals have different paw prints. Unless you are specifically making your poster for one type of animal, such as a dog or cat, you can integrate a variety of paw prints into your poster to unify different animals, such as lion, bear and wolf paw prints. Paint the paw prints next to one another in a collage-like format, in different sizes and colors.
- To make your paw print poster stand out, use materials for the prints instead of paints or markers. Fabrics in different colors and textures make posters unique and vibrant. For example, you could make your cat paw print out of a pink cotton fabric and your bear paw print out of a woolly brown fabric. Simply cut out the shapes of the paws from the material and paste it onto your poster with craft glue.
- Paw prints really stick out in the sand, so you can create a similar effect by make sandy paw prints. Using liquid glue, draw the outline of the paw prints and fill them in. Then, take loose sand and pour the sand over the glue. Allow the sand to settle there for a few minutes. Tip the poster to the side and let the excess sand fall off. You will be left with a paw print that is made out of sand.
- You can make a paw print poster out of edible food products. This idea may be appropriate if you are creating a poster for a dog or cat food drive, and wish to tie in the food theme. Find food items that you can glue to a poster, and that resemble the shapes of animal paws. For example, slice a bagel in half and glue one half of it to the poster as a dog's paw, and then glue four marshmallows around it as the toes.
