How to Bead a Metal Hoop
- 1). Read the instructions that came with your hoop so you know how it opens and closes, or ask someone in the store when you purchase your supplies.
- 2). Open your metal hoop so the ends are not connected and you can put on beads.
- 3). Slide your beads onto the hoop by pushing them onto the side that does not have a clasp. Add as many beads as you want.
- 4). Bend the hoop, if necessary, to secure it. Use needle-nose pliers to bend the metal upward no more than 1/4 inch.
- 5). Close the hoop. For some hoops, you might thread one end through an eye on the other end, or you might latch the curved ends of the hoop around one another to secure it.
