    • 1). Draw a circle to outline the shape of the pug head and a vertical oval underneath the circle to create the body.

    • 2). Draw two floppy, bent-over triangle shapes to create cute ears. Divide the face in two with an upward-curved horizontal line to create the muzzle. Above the line, draw two large round eyes with lazy eyelids. Draw extra added lines around the eyes to create the sense of wrinkles and depth in the face.

    • 3). Draw a button nose underneath the eyes and inside the jaw. Draw two round circles inside the nose to create the nostrils. Follow the circular shape of the jaw and draw a wide-open smiling mouth with a long tongue poking out. Draw a line down the middle of the tongue. Add in four teeth on each side of the mouth. Your pug should look pretty funny and friendly by now.

    • 4). Draw the body. Draw lots of wrinkly lines underneath the jaw that blend into the body. Draw two long, skinny triangles that poke out from the upper body to create the legs. Make sure the legs are wide at the top and draw down into a small paw at the bottom. Draw a round circle at the bottom of the legs to create the paws and draw three small lines to define the toes. Add two more paws in the center of the bottom of the legs.

    • 5). Add details to your cartoon pug. Add extra lines to the belly of your pug to show its weight. Pugs are usually thick with weight and skin so add lots of wrinkly lines on the body of the pug.
