The Universe Rewards Action
I'd been in Toronto, Canada doing a one-on-one training course with Bob and his wife Linda, and that was one of the first things he told me.
What he was trying to convey to me was that you can make all the goals you want but if you don't have a plan as to how you're going to achieve it, it won't happen.
Think of it this way; if you were thinking of taking a road trip to somewhere you've never been before, you'd have to plan your route.
It would be nonsense to hop in the car and just drive hoping you make it.
A goal cannot be achieved without action.
So how does a goal come to fruition?
- Write the goal down on a piece of paper or a journal or something you can look at throughout the day.
Be specific about what you want to say and word it as though you're already in the receipt of the goal.
Also be date specific.
If you want to achieve it in 6 months then put down the date 6 months ahead.
You could word your goal in the following way: "By the 30th June 2011 I am now living in my dream home".
You get the picture. - The next part of the process is reading your goal every day and fixing it into your mind what you want.
If there is a display home of the style you've chosen, go and look through it taking photos of yourself in the rooms.
Then put the photos up somewhere where you can see them every day.
This reinforces the goal constantly in your mind. - Now you have to do something about taking action.
This may mean you get a second job or you work overtime in your current job.
Whatever it is you do it and it will happen.
It's amazing once you set a goal how many opportunities will come to you and you will find many ways to achieve what you want.
Nothing is achieved in life without a plan.
