- 1). Pull open the pedestal drawer and remove the contents.
- 2). Look on the top of the pedestal to ensure that the four spacer pads are installed, one on each corner.
- 3). Remove the 1/4-inch nuts from the drawer slides and set the nuts aside. Pull the drawer out and then push the slides back onto the pedestal.
- 4). Tip the washing machine so that it rests on its back with the help of a strong, able-bodied partner.
- 5). Remove the legs from the bottom of the washing machine using an adjustable wrench.
- 6). Install the 5/8-inch sheet metal screws included with the pedestals into the two holes on the bottom-rear portion of the washer. Allow approximately 1 centimeter to remain out of the washer.
- 7). Tip the pedestal on its back and slide it against the washer. Slide the screws that were installed into the bottom of the washer into the keyhole slots on the pedestal.
- 8). Install the other two 5/8-inch sheet metal screws included with the pedestals through the two holes in the upper-front portion of the pedestal to secure the pedestal to the washer, but do not tighten.
- 9). Align the sides of the pedestal so that they are flush with the washer and then tighten all four screws.

Tip the washer and pedestal into the upright position with the help of a partner and then slide the washer and pedestal near the final installation location. - 11
Connect the washer water inlet valves and drain hose, following the washing machine's installation instructions. - 12
Place a level on top of the washing machine and then adjust the leveling legs inside the pedestal using an adjustable wrench. Turn the legs counterclockwise to raise them and clockwise to lower them. - 13
Tighten the lock nut on the on the outside portion of each leg using an adjustable wrench to ensure the legs do not move. - 14
Pull the drawer slides out of the drawer and then replace the drawer. Secure using the hex-screws that you removed. - 15
Move the washer into place to complete the installation of the pedestals.
