Borders

• Create a border around the mirror so that you can still use the mirror to see your reflection. Choose a theme or colors and items you like. For example, glue small seashells around the edges of the mirror if the beach calms you or for a beach-themed locker. Rhinestones or faux gemstones with sticker backings are easy to apply for a diva look. Add a simple wood frame or faux wood sticker strips to give the illusion of a wood frame for something more elegant or formal looking.
  
  

Writing

• Write positive messages or quotes to yourself. The messages could serve as reminders of things you need to do, your schedule, or motivational statements that keep you focused on a goal, such as maintaining a high GPA. Use lipstick to write a message to your boyfriend on a mirror for his locker or dry erase markers for other purposes. Alternatively, write a message to yourself that goes around the outer edges of the mirror so that you can still see your reflection in the center.
  
  

Decals

• Peel-and-stick window or wall decals can stick to the mirror without leaving a permanent sticky mess. Put up decals of your favorite professional sports team, your school mascot or other images that you enjoy. For example, put up images of military symbols if you plan on joining the armed forces after high school or create a bouquet of flowers on the mirror with flower decals.
  
  

Pictures

• Use double-sided tape to create a collage of you and your friends. Cut images out of magazines to use photos of your favorite fashion designs or celebrities if that's more your style. Display a copy of a page from your favorite comic book or book or show off your favorite sports trading cards on the mirror. Put the cards in a plastic sleeve and tape or glue the sleeve to the mirror so that you don't ruin the card.
