Junkers Come Here at Chanoma Film Festival
In a recent press release, Bandai Entertainment announced that Junichi Sato's film, 'Junkers Come Here', had been selected for screening at the Chanoma Film Festival taking place at the Laemmle's Fairfax Cinemas in Los Angeles, California.
Originally created by Naoto Kine and directed by Junichi Sato, 'Junkers Come Here'(1995) is the story of Hiromi Nozawa and her dog, Junkers. Hiromi's parents are extremely busy and rarely home, leaving Hiromi and Junkers to fend for themselves.
But Junkers is no ordinary dog and can speak and do other human things as well. As things go wrong around the house, Hiromi must learn to think like a grown-up.
The screening is taking placed from September 10th through the 16th. 'Junkers Come Here' is currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment (www.bandai-ent.com). The Chanoma Film Festival can be contacted through their website at www.chanoma.org.
