    All-Purpose Cleaner

    • 1). Rinse out an empty 16 oz. spray bottle. Make sure that there are no traces of another cleaning product left in the bottle.

    • 2). Fill a glass bowl with 2 tbsp. distilled white vinegar and 1 tsp. borax powder. Add 1 cup hot water to the bowl.

    • 3). Stir the ingredients with a spoon until the borax powder dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to the spray bottle. Use a funnel for easy transfer.

    • 4). Add 1/8 cup liquid dish soap and 15 drops of any essential oil. Shake the bottle lightly a couple of times to combine the ingredients.

    • 5). Use this spray on countertops, appliances, walls, garbage cans and most other hard surfaces in your home.

    Pine Floor Cleaner

    • 1). Fill a medium-sized saucepan with ¼ cup washing soda. Add 1 cup table salt and 2 cups water to the pan. Place the pan on the stove over medium heat.

    • 2). Stir gently until the ingredients have dissolved. Remove the mixture from the heat, and allow it to cool for a couple of hours until it is lukewarm.

    • 3). Add 2 tsp. pine essential oil. Stir the ingredients well with a spoon. Transfer to a container with a lid for storage.

    • 4). Use 3 tbsp. of the mixture for every gallon of hot water when cleaning. Rinse the floor after cleaning with this mixture, using a solution of 1 cup vinegar and 2 gallons of plain water.

    Lemon and Oregano Floor Cleaner

    • 1). Fill a 2-gallon bucket with warm water. Add ¼ cup distilled white vinegar.

    • 2). Place 10 drops of lemon essential oil and 4 drops of oregano essential oil into the bucket. Stir well with a long-handled spoon.

    • 3). Use this mixture to clean, sanitize and disinfect your hard floors. Rinse the floors with plain water after cleaning with the floor cleaner.

    Microwave Cleaner

    • 1). Fill a bowl with ¼ cup baking soda. Stir in 1 tsp. vinegar until a paste forms.

    • 2). Add 6 drops of lemon essential oil. Stir the ingredients again.

    • 3). Apply the mixture to the inside of the microwave. Use a sponge to scrub the mixture into the sides, top and bottom of the microwave.

    • 4). Rinse the residue from the microwave with a damp rag. Leave the microwave door open for about 15 minutes to dry the interior.
