George Foreman Rotisserie Cooking Instructions
- 1). Wash all accessory parts with warm, soapy water. Use a damp cloth and wipe down the inside and outside of the oven.
- 2). Prepare food to be cooked. Cut all vegetables, prepare marinade and trim meats.The manufacturers recommend preparing any foods before assembling the cookware.
- 3). Use the cover handles and lift the cover open.
- 4). Assemble the drip tray by sliding it into the bottom of the unit. Assemble the rotisserie bar and any other accessories you will be using.
Note: Add about two cups of water to the tray before cooking, this will limit smoke from dripping juices. - 5). Plug the rotisserie into a standard electrical outlet. The LCD display will blink "0.00."
Note: You must set the timer and press the "On" button before you can press "Select." - 6). Press the hour "H" button and set the desired number of hours you want to cook the food for, from one to five hours. Next, press the minute "M" button to set the desired number of minutes. Now press the "On/Pause" button. The motor will automatically start, and a red LED light will light up if the motor was on with the last use.
- 7). Press the "Motor" button if you are using the rotisserie bar and the motor does not start automatically. Make sure that the food does not hit any heating elements during rotations. Turning the motor button "On" is not necessary if you will be using the wire rack or baking sheet.
- 8). Press the "Select" button to choose the heating elements you want to use. The default heating setting for the rotisserie is for the bottom front and back elements to come on. There are four heating elements, which will light up on the LCD display upon selection.
- 9). Press the "Temp" button to set your desired cooking temperature. Temperature settings are indicated by dots on the left side of the LCD timer display.
For example: One dot is equivalent to 225 degrees Fahrenheit, two dots are equivalent to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and six dots is equal to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. - 10
Allow the food to cook. Once the food is done and the oven turns off, unplug the rotisserie from the outlet. Let the food sit for 15 to 20 minutes. - 11
Put on oven mitts and remove the rotisserie bar, or any other accessory you used, from the oven. - 12
Remove the food from the rotisserie bar or accessory.
