How to Make Spooky Eyes for Kids
- 1). Wash your child's face with a gentle hypoallergenic cleanser and some warm water. Tear-free all-purpose baby soap works well and is gentle on a child's sensitive skin. Dry with a clean towel.
- 2). Apply the rest of the facial makeup to your child's face first if you have any planned. For example, if your child is going to be Frankenstein, apply the green face paint all over first.
- 3). Rub your index finger into black costume makeup. Begin gently rubbing the makeup around one of your child's eyes keeping it about half an inch from the bottom lid. Make sure the makeup covers the areas solidly, with no skin showing through. Extend the makeup over the top lid to just under the eyebrow and under the eye just above the cheek bone. You are creating large slanted eye shapes around the eye. Repeat with the other eye.
- 4). Take an angled eyeliner brush and dip it into your makeup. Carefully apply makeup to the area just below your child's bottom lid and brush it outward to extend it to the makeup you've already applied under their eye. Fill in the area slowly re-dipping the brush as needed until the eyes are surrounded in total blackness.
