Stop!! Hibari-kun! by Hisashi Eguchi
Weekly Shonen Jump with Stop!! Hibari-kun! by Hisashi Eguchi, as featured in KRAZY! at the Japan Society from March 13 - June 14, 2009.
According to curator Kiyoshi Kusmi, "Hisashi Eguchi was the first to introduce a pop sensibility to the world of Japanese manga. Although is work is largely unknown outside of Japan, Eguchi's pioneering work paved the way for the so-called "J-Pop", a manga-inspired blend of fashion and music that emerged as a new kind of youth culture in Japan in the 1990's."
