WinMPG Converter

• 1). Download a free trial or purchase the full version of WinMPG. Agree to the terms of use, install the software and launch the program.
  
  
• 2). Click the "More..." button on the right-hand side of the program's interface; this will bring up the output preset options. Select either "MPEG1," "MPEG2" or "MP4" (see Tips).
  
  
• 3). Click the folder icon next to the "Input File" field in the conversion window; this will open a pop-up window. Locate your MOV in this window and open it in WinMPG.
  
  
• 4). Set the "Output File" field to the file path for the converted MPEG. Click the "Convert" button to begin converting the MOV to MPEG.
  
  

Zune-Online

• 1). Navigate to Zune-Online's Audio/Video Converter (see Resources). Click the "File" radio button next to "Select Source."
  
  
• 2). Click the "Browse..." button to open a Windows Explorer pop-up window. Locate the MOV file you want to convert and click "Open."
  
  
• 3). Select "Apple QuickTime (.mov)" from the "Input" drop-down bar. Select one of the MPEG or MP4 output options from the "Output" drop-down bar. For portable devices, choose one of the "Video Presets" from the menu directly beneath the "Output" bar.
  
  
• 4). Check the "I Accept The Terms" box; click "Go!" to begin uploading your MOV to Zune-Online's server. The server will convert the file; click the download link to download the video once the conversion is complete.
  
  

MovieToolbox Video Converter

• 1). Download the free trial of MovieToolbox Video Converter and install the software. Agree to any licensing terms and open the program.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Add" button in the program's main screen to open a search window. Browse your computer's hard drive for the MOV file and click "Open."
  
  
• 3). Click the "Continue" button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Browse" button next to the "Output File" box to set a location for the converted MPEG.
  
  
• 5). Select one of the MPEG options from the output drop-down menu and click "Convert" to begin converting the MOV. Track its progress by watching the progress display bar at the top of the screen. The program will automatically open the output folder when the conversion is complete.
