How to: Wall Liners
- 1). Loosen the screws on the wall's electrical plates and remove them. Lay the plates in a secure location to avoid losing the screws.
- 2). Clean the walls with soap and a sponge to remove any dirt and grease on the wall. Removing the dirt will allow the adhesive glue to stick to the walls.
- 3). Measure the width of the wall where you will apply the wallpaper liner, using the measuring tape. Apply the wall liner horizontally, but apply wallpaper vertically.
- 4). Cut the wall liner to the appropriate size using the measurements acquired plus some scissors. Cut the liner in multiple pieces that vary from 1 to 2 feet in order to make the application process less challenging.
- 5). Place the wall liner on a flat surface close to the wall on which you will apply it. The inside of the roll should be facing upwards.
- 6). Apply adhesive glue with a 2-inch foam brush to the side of the liner facing upwards. Cover the entire liner with adhesive.
- 7). Pick up the liner by the corners and stick the liner to the wall in the upper leftmost corner. Fit the liner strip to the ceiling edge to ensure that the liner covers the entire wall. You may have to get a second person to hold up the liner. Pull the liner tightly to avoid bubbles, creases and unwanted grooves.
- 8). Smooth the liner with a smoothing brush to ensure that the liner is stuck to the wall, as well as to remove the unwanted creases and grooves. Use horizontal strokes along the liner pieces.
- 9). Repeat the procedures in Steps 5 to 8 to hang the remaining pieces of wall liner. Work your way from the leftmost upper corner to the leftmost lower corner. Fill in the middle section of the wall and work your way towards the right edge of the wall.

Allow enough time for the adhesive to set and cure before applying paint or wallpaper.
