How to Make a Cowgirl Invitation
- 1). Fold one sheet of card stock paper in half, widthwise, so that you have a card shape that is approximately 5.5 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide.
- 2). Cut folded paper into the shape of a cowboy boot, with a star spur at the back. If you need help creating this shape, try searching for the shape on the internet and print one out that you can cut out and use as a template to trace around. Be sure that the top of the boot is along the folded edge, so that the card will flip open from the top.
- 3). Allow the party girl to decorate the boot, using markers to draw a design on the front and back sides of the boot.
- 4). Squeeze out a small amount of glue along the top of the boot, and draw a glue line around the heel.
- 5). Write "It's A Party" across the shaft of the boot in glue.
- 6). Spread glue all over the star-shaped spur at the back of the invitation.
- 7). Carefully sprinkle silver glitter over the gluey areas, tilting and gently shaking the card back and forth until the glue is covered in glitter.
- 8). Allow to dry, and repeat on other side.
- 9). Allow to dry, then write the party details on the inside of the invitation.
