Creating a Myspace Playlist

• 1). Log on to MySpace. It is necessary to have a MySpace account to create a playlist. Click on the "Music" tab. Once you are on the MySpace Music page, click on the "My Music" tab. Click on "Create Playlist."
  
  
• 2). Name the playlist. Pick a name that explains the grouping of the songs accordingly and a brief description of the songs. For example, if you were creating a playlist of new discoveries, you could call the playlist "New Finds" and under the description write, "Songs I Stumbled Upon."
  
  
• 3). Choose whether or not you want your playlist to be public. Remember, if the point is to share with friends and spread the word about a new song or artist, people will not be able to access the playlist if you deem it private.
  
  
• 4). Add songs to your MySpace playlist. You can search for musicians by name, link to their profile page or simply add selected songs to your page by clicking on the plus (+) button next to the song on the musicians' MySpace media player. You will be prompted to indicate which play list you are adding the selected song to. Just choose the list and the song will be added.
  
  
• 5). Add songs from "Featured Playlists." Often these playlists are created by celebrities who create a list of songs that are their favorites. You can see songs grouped together on the "Featured Playlists" page and simply add them to your playlist using the same instructions listed above. MySpace also has pages dedicated to music charts and genres, offering multiple avenues to discover and share new music through playlists.
