Luke Bryan knocked Florida Georgia Line off the top 5 last week, but the country duo have brought reinforcements this time around: The group's "Round Here" barelled up from #8 to #3, just under their signature single "Cruise," at #3. That's the kind of momentum that could frighten off the competition, but trust me and (I guess I'm somewhat of an authority) Luke Bryan is staying at #1 for at least the next few weeks. Meanwhile, Jason Aldean -- who had an incredible run with My Kinda of Party for the last few years -- returns to the top 5 with "Night Train." The bristly tune is all aboard at #4 (last stop: #11). Bringing up the caboose, er rear, is Brett Eldredge's "Don't Ya," still rocky-steady at #5. The week's big gainer on the country songs chart is Jon Pardi's "Up All Night," which made a ten-point gain from #50. Pardi on.

Luke Bryan's Crash My Party is still blasting its tunes stateside at #1. Florida Georgia Line eye the competition from their lesser post at #2. Colt Ford labelmates and all-around rabble-rousers The Lacs unleash Keep It Redneck at #3. Their entrance reduces Blake Shelton's Based on a True Story to #4, and pushes Luke Bryan's previous studio effort, Tailgates & Tanlines, down to #5. New country music releases this week include the aformentioned record from the Lacs, Charlie Worsham's Rubberband (#12), Tracy Lawrence's Headlights, Taillights & Radios (#26), as well as Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Hornsby's concert set Cluck Ol' Hen: Live (#38).

I lamented last week about Florida Georgia Line being absent from country's top radio songs. (Not that I really think the band needs to dominate every single country chart, as they have for basically the entire summer.) Still, there's better news for a certain record-breaking country band this week: Florida Georgia Line are #4 with their latest single "Round Here." That's four floors beneath Down Under sensation and Nicole Kidman boy toy Keith Urban. "Little Bit of Everything," his lead-off single from his forthcoming fall effort, Fuse, arose from the runner-up slot to #1. Easton Corbin is buzzing at #6 with "All Over the Road," which replaced Brett Eldredge's "Don't Ya." The Band Perry have been MIA since "DONE." graced the top 5, but their latest release from Pioneer, "Don't Let Me Be Lonely," may spell their return. It's this week's big gainer; it jumped 11 slots, from #51 to #40.
