Changing to a Raw Food Diet - Can You Make the Transition Easily?

With the recent Hollywood obsession with the raw food diet, it is understandable that many people are wondering how to transition to it.
There are a few things that one must consider when changing to a raw food diet.
I will go over these important items so you can determine how you will make the move.
As will all drastic changes in eating it is important to consult your physician.
He or she should be aware of your diet so that you can inform him of any weird things you might experience.
From information that I have seen, there are two ways that people are changing to a raw food diet.
The first way is a little extreme.
You go in your pantry and fridge and throw everything out.
Then stock it full of only fresh fruit and vegetables and juices.
Now most people can't or won't be able to do this.
So I suggest a second, more reasonable way to make the move.
First you start by adding more fruits and vegetables to every meal you eat.
Each week you will replace a meal with fruit and vegetables.
So after a month or two you will only be eating fruits and vegetable and will have made the transition fully.
The reason I recommend people to make the move slowly is that changing to a raw food diet is not easy.
The longer you make the transition means the less change you will feel.
Once you are fully on the diet you will wonder how you were able to do it, but then looking back you can see that it was a slow and gradual process.
