Low Carb Diets - Fast Track to Being Slim

Having tried what seems to be every diet on the market I was at a low ebb.
Just by chance I met an old school friend who was always on the chubby side at school but she looked absolutely wonderful, she was slim, her skin glowed and she seemed to be enjoying life to the full.
I tentatively asked her how she had lost her weight and what was her secret and she told me that she had found a diet that seemed to suit her way of life and her pocket.
She went on to explain that like me she had tried loads of different diets, some fad diets and some that are tried and tested but none of them really gave her the results she was looking for.
Then she told me about Lighterlife, it's a very low carb diet, and I mean very low, similar to Atkins Diet.
This diet is based on an intake of 600 calories a day, cutting out all carbohydrates but having plenty of vegetables and protein and just as importantly plenty of water, at least 3 litres a day.
She told me that in the first week she lost 8lb and since then she has averaged 4lb a week.
The twist with Lighterlife is the weekly counselling sessions you get.
Not just the turn up, get weighed and see you next week meetings that I've been to, these counselling sessions are just that, counselling.
The leader of the session wants to know just how I've been getting on with the low carb diet, if I've had any difficulties etc and gives me practical advice.
I enjoy this approach, it helps me talk things over and I feel like I can achieve my goal target.
