How to Use the Drupal Module Tutorial
- 1). Visit the Drupal repository and download the module you want to install. Most modules have multiple versions for specific Drupal versions, so make sure you download the ZIP file for your version of Drupal (5, 6 or 7).
- 2). Sign in to your administrator Dashboard. Click on the "Modules" menu title. Click "Install a New Module."
- 3). Click on "Choose File" then select your module's ZIP file. Click on "Install Now," then click on "Enable."
- 4). Scroll down and find the module you installed. Check the module's box, then click on "Save Configuration." This enables the module.
- 1). Sign in to your Drupal administrator Dashboard. Click on "Modules," then locate the module you installed.
- 2). Click on "Configure" or "Settings" next to the module. If you don't see the link, click the main menu "Configuration" button and locate the module in the configuration page.
- 3). Review the options for the module. Check the boxes next to the features you want to enable and select your desired settings for any fields that may be available. Click on "Save Configuration."
