    • 1). Park your Dodge Ram on flat ground and apply the parking brake.

    • 2). Loosen the lug nuts using a lug nut wrench. Do not remove the lug nuts completely at this time.

    • 3). Place a hydraulic jack directly under the axle. Lift the vehicle enough to remove the tire. Remove the lug nuts and pull the tire from the hub.

    • 4). Remove the caliper from the rotor by removing the bolts with an allen wrench.

    • 5). Tap the wheel stud using a hammer using light blows. Avoid hitting the wheel stud extremely hard, as this may damage the seals in the axle. Penetrating fluid may be used to remove the studs. Remove the wheel stud from the back side of the rotor. Continue these steps for the remaining wheel studs.

    • 6). Insert the new wheel stud into the back side of the rotor with your hands.

    • 7). Place a washer and lug nut on the wheel stud. Tighten the wheel stud using a lug nut wrench. This will pull the wheel stud tight into position in the rotor. Remove the washer and nut from the wheel stud. Continue with the remaining wheel studs.

    • 8). Reinstall the caliper on the rotor and tighten the bolts using an allen wrench. Re-install the tire and tighten the lug nuts using a lug nut wrench. Lower the vehicle back to the ground and remove the hydraulic jack.
