How to Wheelie a TLR

    • 1). Turn on the TLR engine. If it is a gas model, start the engine with the pull cord or with an electric starter. If the TLR is battery-powered, turn on the "On" switch on the base of the car.

    • 2). Position the car at the beginning of a relatively long straightaway. It is best to use a flat surface, but on asphalt, off-road cars may simply spin their tires. It is best to use a dirt track where the off-road tires can dig into the dirt.

    • 3). Pull the trigger on your TLR remote control all the way back. If the tires grip, the front of the R/C car will rise up in a wheelie. If the tires don't grip, try starting the car from another position. Try to avoid excessive amounts of dust or gravel, as these can slip out from under the tires, preventing a wheelie.
