How to Clean a Baritone Horn
- 1). Spray the brass-, silver- or gold-plated instrument cleaner onto the silver polishing cloth. Scrub the entire surface of your horn using a circular motion. Apply the polish as far as you can into the horn end as well. Keep the silver polishing cloth moist with the cleaner at all times.
- 2). Spray the brass-, silver- or gold plated instrument cleaner onto a tip of the baritone horn "Q-tip" cleaner brush. Insert the brush into the end of the horn. Use the brush just as you would a Q-tip.
- 3). Spray the brass lacquer protection spray onto the microfiber rag. Scrub the entire surface of your horn using a circular motion. Apply the polish as far as you can into the horn end as well. Keep the microfiber rag moist with the protection spray at all times.
- 4). Spray the brass lacquer protection spray onto the clean tip of the baritone horn "Q-tip" cleaner brush. Insert the brush into the end of the horn. Use the brush just as you would a Q-tip.
- 5). Rinse both ends of the baritone horn "Q-tip" cleaner brush off under hot water. Allow the horn to dry for an hour before putting it back in its case.
