    • 1). Cut six lengths of wire, and strip ½ inch of insulation from each wire end. Attach one end of the first wire to one of the alternator power terminals, and solder the wire to the terminal. Attach one end of the second wire to the remaining alternator power terminal, and solder the wire to the terminal.

    • 2). Attach the free end of the first wire to one of the terminals on the transformer primary side, and solder the wire to the terminal. Attach the free end of the second wire to the remaining terminal on the transformer primary side, and solder the wire to the terminal.

    • 3). Attach one end of the third wire to one of the terminals on the transformer secondary side, and solder the wire to the terminal. Attach one end of the fourth wire to the remaining terminal on the transformer secondary side, and solder the wire to the terminal.

    • 4). Attach the free end of the third wire to one of the "AC" terminals on the rectifier pack, and solder the wire to the terminal. Attach the free end of the fourth wire to the remaining "AC" terminal on the rectifier pack, and solder the wire to the terminal.

    • 5). Attach one end of the fifth wire to the positive ("+") terminal on the rectifier pack, and solder the wire to the terminal. Attach one end of the fifth wire to the negative ("-") terminal on the rectifier pack, and solder the wire to the terminal.

    • 6). Using the slip joint pliers, loosen the top bolts on both battery terminal connectors. Insert the free end of the fifth wire into the space created by the loosened bolts on the first battery terminal connector. Tighten the top bolts on the first battery connector until it holds the wire snugly. Solder the wire to the battery terminal connector.

    • 7). Insert the free end of the sixth wire into the space created by the loosened bolts on the second battery terminal connector. Tighten the top bolts on the second battery connector until it holds the wire snugly. Solder the wire to the battery terminal connector.

    • 8). Using the slip-joint pliers, loosen the retaining nut on the first battery terminal connector, and connect the first battery terminal connector to the positive ("+" or "POS") battery post. Loosen the retaining nut on the second battery terminal connector, and connect the second battery terminal connector to the negative ("-" or "NEG") battery post. Tighten the battery terminal connector retaining nuts.
