How to Replace Headlight Bulbs on Chevy Trailblazers
- 1). Open the hood.
- 2). Reach behind the headlight assembly and locate one of the three rubber boots. Each boot holds a different bulb. For low beams, it is the middle boot. High beams are the boots closest to the center of the bumper. The turn signal bulbs are toward the outside of the car, near the fender.
- 3). Remove the rubber boot for the headlight bulb.
- 4). Turn the gray plastic housing counter clockwise and pull to remove the bulb assembly.
- 5). Unscrew or unplug (depending on the model year) the bulb.
- 6). Screw or plug in (depending on the year) the new bulb.
- 7). Put the bulb assembly back into the headlight assembly hole.
- 8). Turn the assembly clockwise to tighten. You'll hear a click when it is fully tightened.
