• Winamp is a free media player developed by Nullsoft. This software supports different file formats, both audio and video, such as AVI, NSV, WMV and MPG. If set as a default media player for your browser, it can also play video and audio streams within the browser's window. This player also supports copying your favorite CDs to the hard drive or another CD absolutely free. You can choose from many different interface formats, or skins, to select the one that is easiest to use. Winamp media player also grants you free and easy access to music and video downloads (provided you have an Internet connection). In addition, you can tune in to a couple of radio stations, such as SHOUTcast Radio and AOL Radio with XM, at absolutely no charge using the built-in browsing capability. QuickTime Media Player

• QuickTime media player is a product by Apple that has been providing music and video playback assistance for over ten years. It supports the same file formats as Windows Media Player and Winamp, and can playback CDs, DVDs and stream content from the Web in the Web browser's window. It is also designed for automatic updates that will always keep you up-to-date with the most recent advancements of the software. • iTunes is another media player product designed by Apple. It comes standard with the Mac OS X operating system, but can be downloaded free for PC users as well. It provides both audio and video playback of your favorite CDs and DVDs, and can be used to play streamed Web content. This software is also the application manager for iPods and iPhones, which allows you to sync these players with your media library within minutes.
