How to Set Up Raid 0 in Windows Vista
- 1). Visit the Intel downloads site.
- 2). Choose your motherboard from the first list. Select "Windows Vista" as your operating system and "Drivers" as your download type.
- 3). Download the driver marked "RAID" from the download list.
- 4). Copy this driver to your USB flash drive. Remove the flash drive.
- 5). Insert your Vista installation disc. Restart your computer.
- 6). Enter the BIOS immediately before the disc boots. The necessary key stokes will appear on the screen, and they vary depending on your system. Some common methods include hitting F2, hitting F10 or hitting F1 repeatedly.
- 7). Use your arrow keys to move to the "System Startup" section of the BIOS.
- 8). Use the down arrow key to move to "Configure SATA as."

Before Vista boots, press the "control" and "I" keys. This will open the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. - 13

Select "Disk 0." Do not click "Next." Insert your flash drive. - 19
Click the "Load driver" button from the window's lower left corner. The driver will appear in the installation window. Highlight it and click "Next." - 20
Complete the remaining installation steps as normal. Name your computer, pick a time zone, choose your network location and finish the installation.
