Removing Watermark from Laminated Hardwood Floor
- 1). Add 2 cups of white vinegar to 2 gallons of distilled water in a plastic bucket.
- 2). Wet a mop in the solution. Wring out the liquid so the mop is moist and not soaking wet.
- 3). Mop the floor with the solution. Pay special attention to the areas that have the highest concentration of watermarks. The vinegar will remove any marks caused by cleaning-product residue. The distilled water will remove any spots caused by mineral deposits from the previously used water.
- 4). Fill another plastic bucket with 3 gallons of distilled water. Don't use plain water, as doing so will lead to more watermarks.
- 5). Wet a mop in the distilled water. Wring out the liquid so the mop is moist and not soaking wet.
- 6). Mop the laminated hardwood floor with distilled water.
- 7). Wipe the floor with a soft cloth immediately. This will prevent the formation of any new waterspots.
- 8). Check the floor. Spray any remaining watermarks with window cleaner. Wipe and dry with a paper towel
